Description: Broadbus Beijing office is the R&D branch office of Broadbus Technologies, Inc which has recently been acquired by Motorola. Broadbus builds industry leading high performance, high scalability and high availability Video On Demand (VOD) servers. The Broadbus VOD platform is going to play a key role in Motorola‘s Seamless Mobility strategy. The Broadbus Beijing R&D team is spearheading a complete end to end back office software solution tailored to the emerging China VOD market for CableTV and IPT Software Quality Engineer to work with a small team of SQA engineers in testing new features created for a Video On Demand solution. Candidate is expected to have a history of testing and delivering software and hardware products Must have system test experience and be able to work in a fast paced environment Candidate will be responsible for test design, implementation and execution to ensure that the overall quality goals are met. Requirement: 1-3 years with software quality assurance Previous experience with automated and manual testing of software and hardware products The candidate must be adaptable, flexible and willing to take on new challenges The candidate must be a team player, and must be able to work with multiple engineering and cross-functional teams. Familiar with at least one source control system Fluent in written English Can conduct technical discussions in English Additional Desirable Skills: Experience with products running the Linux OS Experience with databases and sql scripts Experience with Video On Demand |
