| LabsSystemsEngineer职位说明及要求 | |
Job Duties (include but not limited to): -System Administration and Management on a highly available (7X24) and heterogeneous UNIX development environment on HP-UX, Linux, Solaris and AIX. -Database Administration and Management on different RDBMS platforms including Oracle, SQL*Server, Teradata, Sybase and IBM DB2 -Responsible for automating administrative tasks in UNIX and database environments (scripting, shell, Perl, monitoring). -Responsible for proactive and reactive software and hardware maintenance: hardware/software installation, diagnostics, upgrades, network, Operating System and Database Tuning. -Be available for development questions and recommend a logical solution and/or corrective action for possible problems that may occur. -Constantly recommend avenues to improve the UNIX development infrastructure and/or processes. -Document and maintain documentation on the UNIX infrastructure in an ever changing and dynamic process. -Develop, test and validate Disaster and Recovery plans. -Develop system security strategies in UNIX and database infrastructures. -Participate in the analysis and resolution of database issues derived from the integration of MicroStrategy products with various DBMS platforms Requirements: -Strong verbal and written communication skills -Strong analytical skills -Bachelor‘s degree (in Mathematics, Science, Computer Science or Engineering) -Professional Certifications on any of the following Operating Systems: AIX, Solaris, HP-UX, Linux are a plus. -Working knowledge of Solaris, or HP-UX, AIX or Linux and two major RDBMSs is required. -Through understanding of NIS, NFS is must. -Hands on experience with shell scripting or Perl are desirable. -Must have solid troubleshooting skills and ability to perform all levels of systems administration. -Experience of applying patches, security management, upgrades, interoperability issues, application troubleshooting. -Experience of administering Samba is also a plus. -Experience with Veritas and/or Tivoli backup management software, and SAN is required. -Ability to learn and excel in a multi-tasking, and multi-platform development environment -Ability to troubleshoot network and server performance related problems |
