Reporting to Director, Financial Information Systems, the incumbent in this position will share responsibility for the analysis, design and development, support, implementation, and enhancement of JDEdwards OneWorld Enterprise One and associated enterprise financial systems. Job Duties include but are not limited to: This is a "technical hands-on" position requiring JDEdwards Enterprise One financial systems development experience, as well as a sound understanding of basic accounting principles, and SQL programming skills. The incumbent will be responsible for technical custom development using the JDEdwards OneWorld Tool set and/or modify reports, applications, business functions, and SQL interfaces to support the business needs. This involves creating tables, business views, business functions, columnar reports and financial reports using smart fields. This requires intimate working knowledge of JD Edwards Enterprise One with emphasis on designing and generating reports, working with solution explorer, security, vocabulary overrides, and user overrides, designing business views and executing processes using event rules and the ability to debug interactive applications and UBE‘s. The incumbent will document business processes and requirements and propose recommendations to satisfy the requirement. This includes the system lifecycle process of development to production implementation to include all phases of testing, and technical and end user documentation with Sarbanes Oxley Compliance. The incumbent will provide front-line technical support to end users, troubleshooting systems issues, fielding random questions, and implementing an appropriate fix or escalation to resolve reported issues. (S)he must effectively assess help requests to determine the root cause of the problem, and must apply knowledge of the entire system to implement solutions without causing other issues. At times, the incumbent will train end users to run the software application more effectively. The incumbent will run and analyze integrity reports, reconcile imbalances, and check data integrity on a periodic basis. Job Requirements: Education/Knowledge: Minimum bachelor degree, preferably in a related field. At least 3 years‘JDEdwards OneWorld /Enterprise One technical financial applications experience in a multi-national/multi-currency ERP environment General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets,and Distribution modules oThorough Knowledge of development using the JDE OneWorld Tool Set Working knowledge of NT, C++, SQL Server and databases SQL - Retrieving data with select statements, Inner and outer joins, sub-queries, grouping data SQL - Creating and managing stored procedures Travel: The incumbent may travel periodically to countries in Europe, Asia, or Latin America to implement systems, troubleshoot problems, train end users, and/or provide support or operations coverage. |
