Description: PURPOSE AND DISTINGUISING CHARACTERISTICS The trainer is responsible to educate and motivate SR, RE, RM, AE, AM as defined by a Training Certifier. The suitable candidate will have a proficiency in sales and or sales training. A minimum of three years sales training experience is preferred. Prior experience in FMCG, retail or mobile phone sales management or sales training is an advantage. Principally, the position entails training and education for retail sales network. Accordingly, candidates need to have performed in sales, training or retail as a minimum requirement. TASKS Delivers presentations, stand up training, or instruction to staff and management in a way that engages and involves the participants. Deploys and prepares training/instructional materials, teaching aids and devices that the trainer has been instructed and certified to deliver. Monitors and evaluates audience participation and processes and/or practices for quality and effectiveness; has an appreciation and aptitude for intervention and correction and makes recommendations for participant improvement. Acts as a resource to provide information or determine the most effective way of meeting the needs of the audience based on training material provided. SKILLS / ABILITY TO Deliver presentations or training using acceptable methods and techniques as defined by the Certifier and as instructed in the curriculum and course content, learning objectives, and/or course materials. Deal with participants in a manner that shows sensitivity, tact, and professionalism Speak clearly, concisely and effectively; Listen to, and understand, information and ideas as presented verbally, Communicate information and ideas clearly, and concisely, in writing; read and understand information presented in writing, Understands learning principles and personality types. Has a working knowledge of basic personality types such as the Myer Briggs type indicator of Extroverted-Introverted, Sensing-intuition, Thinking-Feeling, Judging -Perceiving Evaluate information against a set of standards. Requirement: The following KSA‘s are mandatory Instructional methods and techniques, Testing and/or examination methodologies Principles, use of training tools and instruments Presentation and influencing skills Vigour and motivational strength Preparedness to travel Fluent English and Mandarin OTHER REQUIREMENTS No special physical demands are required to perform the work other than vocal strength and preparedness to stand for long periods |
