IT Manager Responsibilities: 1. Network Manages design, installation, 24x7 support and maintenance of servers and communications capabilities. 2. Functional Applications Procures hardware and software needed to support functional applications in areas of culinary, point of sale, customer door count, labor management, nutrition, and purchasing. Understands business processes, functional area requirements and design based on documentation. Supports functional experts in installation of applications. Supports 24x7 operational effectiveness of functional applications from May 8th, 2008 through Sept 30th, 2008. 3. Back-office Support Manages server administration. Manages user administration. Ensures that preventative maintenance is administered on servers and user PCs. Provides user help support. Supervises peripheral and telecommunication support including printers, copiers, telephones, faxes, walkie-talkies, etc. Project Management Supervises a team of 4 - 6 people. Provides daily or weekly status to IT management. Supervises outside vendors and consulting resources to ensure products and support are delivered on time, on functionality, and under budget. Qualifications: College degree in Computer Science, Engineering or the equivalent. 8-10 years of progressively responsible experience including, but not limited to support of LANs; experience in WAN support highly desirable. Current expertise with server and communications technologies. Current expertise with hardware, software and operating systems (network and desktop/laptop). 3 - 7 years of project management experience involving vendor management. Strong customer service orientation. Past experience providing user support. Communication and interpersonal skills. Understanding of system development methodology. Able to read, write, and communicate effectively in both Chinese and English |
