Responsibilities: -Lead the evaluation of software systems and perform product feasibility studies to ensure compliance to product specifications and requirements with focus on consumer electronic touch screen interface and MMI. -Lead the implementation/realization of the SW part of a complete touch screen based project or of complex touch screen related applications and sub-systems -Plan and execute software integration in the target product -Analyze software problems to determine possible failure modes through root cause analysis and recommend solutions and improvements -Prepare and generate project documentation. -Interface with other functions such as Digital HW, LCD Development, Quality Management and other Engineering teams as well as with external SW partners. -Do or lead technical investigations of applications provided by 3‘rd parties -Perform requirement management, breakdown of the requirements to SW work packages and coordinate the resulting tasks. Requirements: -At least 6 years working experience in software development, MS degree preferred. -2 years experience in SW project management -Knowledge and experience in Consumer Electronic devices featuring touch screen applications -Working experience in embedded software development and proficient in C/C++ programming -Familiar with software development methodologies such as OOA/OOD -Very good technical knowledge and experience in understanding and analyzing technical problems and finding solutions to them -Good presentation and communication skills -Ability to work well and contribute both as an individual or team -Competence in spoken and written English is necessary |
