1.Objectives As Local Manager Safety, Health and Environment (LMSHE) in the Country: -Implement SHE rules and coordinate SHE activities in the Country -Organize risk management for transport safety in the Country -Standardize SHE process and guarantee full compliance, for: All goods shipped out of China (sea, air) All goods imported to China (sea, air) All inner China transports (truck, air) -Comply with transport regulations for goods in countries of destination (outbound) -Audit existing processes and improve SHE standards in the Country Local Business Unit Manager(LBUM), Head of Country Management Team(HCMT) Support in the Country: -Support LBUM, HCMT, Sales Managers for all SHE related matters Daily Business: -review and check transport documents related to SHE (MSDS, etc.) -support sourcing and sales, advice, control -harmonize classifications with SHE managers abroad -audit forwarders, improve SHE process -stop shipments that do not comply with regulations 2.Qualification, Experience Good knowledge in Dangerous Cargo Regulation, Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) Basic understanding of the Global Harmonized System (GHS) If available Chemical background (like Bachelor or Master Degree chemistry, pharma …) but not absolutely mandatory if otherwise experienced. 3.Skills Strong personality, willing to take a local responsibility Willing to manage SHE processes in a country Inter-cultural thinking/understanding Languages: Good English (written and spoken); additional languages of the Region are an advantage |
