Responsibility:
Leads and directs the Plant Purchasing Department activities of: Purchasing raw materials, finished gooda and Import/Export functions; supports OP to control Materials Inventory. Facilitates the related SBU to effective control of material price and effective utilize inventories. Ensure cost competitiveness and Raw materials maintained at optimum levels balancing the expense of the working capital with the ability to supply the customer consistent with PPG policy and customer service requirements. Responsible for the staffing, development and management of the entire Raw Materials Purchasing Department and participates in all hiring and merit increases. Drive and attain all raw materials purchasing KPIs to meet plant function’s continuous satisfcation.
Requires:
Bachelor’s degree in Business/Science or equivalent. Fluency in Mandarin and English. 5 years experience in purchasing, customer service, MRP, and/or manufacturing operations.
