Responsibility - Key software developer or architect to design our 3D community client framework and implement the higher level features or functions on Brew platform on various handsets - Own product subcomponents including functional specification, design, implementation, unit testing and maintenance - Collaborate with other internal and external entities in defining specifications. Assist in development of implementation schedules for owned subcomponents - Assist QA engineers as required to develop test plans and isolate software faults
Requirement - Minimum BS in Computer Science with 4 years of experience, or MS in Computer Science with 2 years of experience - Strong commercial Brew application design and development experience on handsets or portable devices - Firm background in network game development or gaming components (i.e. game engines, particle systems, 3D effects, collision detection, etc.) - C/C++ experience with OpenGL/DirectX API experience - Shader experience (DirectX, CG, OpenGL ES 2.x, OpenGL 2.0) - Content creation tools development for 3D games (Maya, 3DS Max, SoftImage experience, exporter development) is a plus - Familiar with J2ME, MIDP, JSR184, JSR239 is a plus - Self-motivation & willingness/ability to learn new concepts and products quickly - Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
