Position Summary: ? Responsible for working with major customer teams to define customer requirements, product deployment solutions and associated program costs and schedule. ? Develop an understanding of market goals and define resulting product and technical requirements. ? Manage a program team to implement, negotiate and execute the program plan within schedule and budget. ? Responsible for organizing and managing customer program activities with teams consisting of an account executive, customer service engineer, development &QA engineer, operational, and support Functions to define customer requirements, associated product solutions, implementation/support requirements, and defining (and managing to) overall project and implementation schedule. ? Provide a single contact point to the customer to manage all activities essential for program execution. ? Manage and maintain the customer relationship. Duties and Principal Activities: ? Develop the program plan, including work breakdown, program schedule and task/responsibility matrix. ? Assemble, organize and lead the program team to perform all required tasks. ? Monitor and review all program activities, and prepare and present periodic reports to senior management, including identification of and recommended action to correct any problems. ? Ensure that program tasks are accomplished within stated schedule and budget constraints. ? Develop overall Program Plan, Program schedule, task/responsibility matrix, and, as appropriate, obtain resource commitments from Functional organizations. ? Organize and manage Program teams and their activities. ? Make immediate reports - including corrective actions recommended and/or initiated - to correct or avoid implementation issues and risks. ? Identify and complete Program exit criteria to facilitate formal hand-off to Account Team and Customer Service. Knowledge/Skill Requirements: ? A university degree is needed. ? 2-4 years of Project Management or directly related experience ? A strong Project Manager with a track record in managing large projects. ? Professional presence and strong leadership skills. ? Strong results and P&L (Profit and loss) orientation. ? Experience in the telecommunications industry working with major domestic and international carriers. ? Strong Project/Program management experience with successful track record in executing technically and logistically complex projects and programs. ? Team leader and team player. ? Must be able to speak and write in English
