| Commodity Manager职位说明及要求 | |
Job Description: - Develop and implement global procurement strategies that meet the goals and objectives of the business. Integrate Emerson key programs of best cost sourcing， eSourcing， Emerson leverage， velocity and DPO improvement. - Develop & execute cost reduction projects. Understand and utilize Emerson tools such as eSourcing. - Manage global supply base including relationships and performance. Identify performance issues and take corrective action. - Work collaboratively with division buyers and transportation personnel integrate strategies and projects to meet the needs and objectives of the larger group. Identify improvement objectives for key suppliers in lead-time reduction， on time delivery improvement and inventory reduction. - Member of new product development teams for assigned commodities. Perform procurement role and get keeping responsibilities for Emerson gate staged new product development process. - Job Profile: - Minimum 4-year degree required. Preferable in Engineering/Business; Advanced degree is a plus. - Minimum 10 years work experience in mechanical industry (5 years with multinational company， 2 years in procurement is a plus). Knowledge of machine parts manufacturing preferred. - Excellent communication skill， bilingual (English & Chinese)， both written & spoken. - Self motivated， able to work independently with minimal direction. Strong project management skills required. Must be creative and results oriented. - Willing and able to travel internationally. |
