Responsibility:
·This position is responsible for the product development for the Consumer Electronics (CE) and Consumer Products (CP) coatings market segment. The incumbent will work closely with the CE Product Development Manager to develop new products or modify existing formulations to meet customer requirements. The incumbent will work with the production and quality departments to ensure that all products are designed for efficient manufacture and meet quality requirements. The incumbent will work with the sales and technical services department in the laboratory and the field to solve product performance problems.
·The incumbent will exercise good laboratory and quality systems practices in the laboratories.
·The incumbent will work closely with the CE Market Managers to achieve the business goals， including sales and profitability growth and meeting customer expectations.
·The incumbent will be responsible for implementing processes to continually reduce product costs， manufacturing cycle times， and improve the overall performance of PPG CE products. The incumbent will be required to work closely with global and Asia Pacific laboratories to share coating information between all locations. He/She will work with suppliers to identify new raw materials and technologies for local product development.
Requires:
1.Should meet all related requirements regarding Quality Management Systems and EHS Management Systems. 工作须符合质量管理体系和EHS管理体系的相关要求。
2.A bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering， chemistry， or related fields.
3.A minimum of two years experience in coatings for plastic substrates)， and familiarity with paint related raw materials and paint technologies are required..
4.The candidate must be competent in written and spoken English (CET level 4 minimum) and Mandarin and have good presentation skills.
