CustomerServiceRepresentative职位说明及要求



Summary of Position: To interact directly with customers and coordinate with other functions within the Vertellus Specialities, Inc. to ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded and service opportunities are handled professionally. The scope of the position includes all of NRCC transactions as well as specific order processing for transactions out of Indianapolis, US, Antwerp and ADPO, both located in Belgium.

Key Customers: External Customers, Sales Managers, Master Production Schedulers, Demand Managers, Supply Managers, Shipping, Traffic, Quality Auditor, etc.

Key End Results:
1.Order processing
This position is responsible for taking the customers order information, processing it through SAP and providing immediate feedback on availability. Where necessary the CSR will work with the Master Production scheduler, Demand Manager, supply Manager, International logistics, etc. Provide reliable feedback to the customer on product availability and advance notice of changes in delivery schedules. Participate in periodic Planning & Scheduling meetings. Daily reviews of SAP core reports to ensure prompt handling and delivery of orders, which may include any problems, errors, etc.

2.Billing
This position is responsible for reviewing the Billing Due List generated by SAP for orders shipped and releasing them to the customer for payment. This position is also responsible for the generation of any debit or credit invoices as appropriate (including commissions, rebates, etc.). Daily reviews Billing Log to ensure prompt handling of problems or errors.

3.Master Data Maintenance
This position is responsible for maintaining SAP master data essential for the systematic processing of orders. Such master data consists of material and customer specific pricing (including discounts, surcharges, inter-company pricing, freight accruals, etc.).customer master, salesmen, and agent assignments.

4.Document Preparation
This position is responsible for preparing and forwarding documents of customers clearance, Drug Enforcement from 486, signature control files and quarterly audits, NAFTA Canadian & Mexican Certificates of Origin, or as appropriate to meet customer or country requirements.

5.Record Retention
This position will be responsible for the maintenance of records as stipulated under the quality records and record retentions policies.
Knowledge: Associate or Bachelors Degree preferred; One-Two year‘s direct experience in customer service preferred.

Key Transferable Skills: Providing customer service; Handling difficult people & situation; Conveying warmth, Knowing and following ISO procedures; Implementing decision; Etc.

Job Content Skills: Microsoft Office applications proficient and good typist require;
Marketing background; Chemical plant operation; Regulation on Drug Enforcement. North American Free Trade Agreement Certificates or Origin and Export Control; ISO 9000 System, Responsible Care Commitments; Contract Administration; Ensuring customer order completion; Preparing documents.
Equipment Operation: Operation: Personal computer; Fax; Auto-Fax; E-Mail; Electronic Data Interchange; and Phone System.
Hours & Travel: 0800-1700 and as job dictates.

Status: Salaried, non-exempt
Physical requirement: Able to meet job needs.
