ESSENTIAL FUNCTION / RESPONSIBILITIES: The objective of this role is to accelerate the growth of GE transportation marine engine and propulsion system product line. Reporting to China Sales Director of Transportation P&SS, your key responsibility will include: * Identify, qualify, pursuit and capture all sales opportunities with the objective of maximize growth in GETS marine related product line. * Lead the preparation, submission, tracking and closing of quotations, technical clarifications, and contracts. * Develop, maintain and nurture relationships with customers. * Develop and implement strategies for key accounts, tenders and strategic deals. * Work with marketing team to prepare market assessments, competitive analysis and sales forecasts. * Actively engage in New Product Initiatives by closely working with headquarter team and relate this to sales. QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS: * BS degree in mechanical/ electrical engineering discipline, good knowledge of marine propulsion system. * 3~5 year working experience in marine industry * Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, ability to communicate at all levels within external customer organizations as well as internal organization. * Fluent in both business and technical English communications, both verbal and written. * A track record of success in bringing in business within a multinational environment. DESIRED: * A strong familiarity with marine industry operational practice, from engine to the entire propulsion system. * Knowledge and existing network of China shipyard and naval architect. |
