ISG Architecture and Solution Consultant

The Architecture and Solution Consultant， a senior position in c ompany‘s Integrated Solution Group， plays a key role in c ompany China‘s strategy in the use of Architecture and Solution led approach in bringing value to our strategic customers. This position will be part of a team in the pre sales organization that will lead the customer engagement by mapping enterprise business needs to c ompany‘s architecture and solutions. This will be an important part of gaining mindshare and differentiation. The ability to position and articulate the appropriate solution for a specific customer environment and c ompany opportunity， supported by a proven architecture selling approach， is one of the key strategies for c ompany China‘s growth.

The ISG architecture and solution Consultant will also be an important team member to enable and be a catalyst in the broader transformation of the way c ompany China engages our customers and opportunities. The successful candidate will have ample room to make a difference and significantly contribute to the success of the organization and the company.

Key customer segments will include: Large Enterprise and Government， as well as Financial Services.

Architecture led customer engagement offers the opportunity to apply knowledge of Enterprise Architecture and particularly Technology Architecture. Solution led engagement offers the opportunity to apply in depth understanding of network solutions to meet customer business and technology needs.

Network Solutions will include， but not limited to:



Vertical industry solutions，

high performance server farm design，

SAN and storage infrastructure，

business continuity and disaster recovery

Optimized application delivery and application integration

Data center operations and management

Next generation green data center

Job Duties include:



Active participation in customer engagement

Advise and support sales team in account， architecture， solution strategy

Collaboration with cross functional and geography teams

Enable and mentor other technical team members， particularly our SE teams

Presentation to executives， business and technology audiences

Project manage customer engagement process

Articulate solution value proposition in alignment with customer needs

Skills Required：



Practical knowledge of Enterprise Architecture

Good knowledge of Technology Architecture and network products and solutions

Self-starter and motivated individual with proven track record

Able to build and lead virtual teams， and collaborate well

Able to communicate well at an executive level， as well as peer level

Fast learner who can keep up to date with the industry， IT development， and networking products/solutions

Education Background



Typically requires a graduate degree with relevant professional certifications in IT (e.g. Architecture， Project Management， IT Operations， Networking). Min 10 years experience in relevant fields.
