| 1. Design and development of the acoustical aspects of loudspeakerdrivers and boxes， according to customer specifications and within the timeframe of the projectplanning. Interacting with the mechanicall & electrical development engineers when designing the acoustical aspects of drivers and boxes. 2. Interfacing to external suppliers on technical issues to create a pro-active involvement of the suppliers. Controlling and organising the construction of development samples according to the projectplanning. 3. Responsible for the in time delivery of the required documentation of mechanics during the development. 4. Responsible for the translation of the project deliverables into his/hers daily workload. 5. Support to business management: Within a multi-disciplinary team， based on commercial inputs， capable of defining a sound system architecture for a range of products consisting of: Loudspeaker driver specification or selection Box tuning and sound system tuning Capable of balancing cost optimisations of technology versus product performance. 6. As member of the projectteams， report project development results and outputs to the projectmanager Academic / Professional Qualification:Degree in Acoustical， Mechanical or Electrical engineering Working Experience: 3 to 5 years experience in loudspeaker industry， Expertise / Skills : Knowhow on loudspeaker function， operation theory and industry standards on measurements of loudspeakers Know how on Quality and reliability testing of loudspeaker driver and boxes Know how on different loudspeaker enclosures， boxes known within industry Know how on passive and active crossover filters to influence speaker performance Experienced in international working environment: International communication with external partners， communication with customers on product concept， communication with suppliers Personal Attributes: A team minded person capable of working independently， taking his or hers own responsibility on the job and keeping a positive attitude under all circumstances. Strong communicational skills. Strong awareness that todays world of massproduction consumergoods companies must be highly cost driven to maintain their competitive position Willing to travel. A personal interest in loudspeakers and audio equipment is recommended. |
