Report to: Plant manager
Key Responsibilities:
Production flow and process capability design and improvement
Design & installation of new equipment and process
Ensuring all process equipment is properly maintained in a safe， working condition
Development ， implement and monitor preventative maintenance routines.
Capital budget planning and project implementation.
Maintain a strong relationship with manufacturing engineering resources at other Cummins Emissions Solutions (CES) plants.
Be a window to cooperate with global ME organization.
Cost analysis for manufacturing processes.
Implement Cummins Operating System (COS).
Work with cross-functional team to achieve project objectives
Complete manufacturing steps required by Cummins value product Introduction (VPI) for successful product launch.
Assist in training of production employees.
Sourcing of production equipment/tooling.
Requirements:
Bachelor degree or college degree in Mechanical Engineering .
Five years working as ME Manager in a manufacturing company， western companies are preferred.
Fluent in spoken and written English.
Experience of TS16949 and automotive industry quality requirement.
Team work.
Able to understand safety regulations.
Experience with Cummins Operating System (COS) or Lean tools.
Experience with Value Product Introduction (VPI).
Welding experience considered a plus.
