| MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: You will work in a senior HW engineering role in advanced technology programs. You are an expert in your own area with capability to extend your ideas outside your comfort zone. You will be working in leading edge technology projects with architecture， specification and implementation responsibilities. ·Participate in outlining system definition and derive the functional specification for a subsystem. Key contributor to System Architecture ·Board-level architecture and solution design， including component selection， partitioning， hardware/software/FPGA tradeoffs ·Analyze， develop and implement concepts and solutions ·Evaluate technical proposals from suppliers and partners REQUIREMENTS: You have 5+ years of experience in architecting and designing HW systems with high speed interfaces. You will hold a Master‘s degree or above. Professional skills: ·Experience in designing packet processing system using state of the art network processor technologies ·Experience in developing high speed Ethernet packet processing solution using FPGA and state of the art network processors ·Networking and systems integration experience (e.g. embedded CPU， NPU， Ethernet， switch fabrics， FPGA) ·Optical switching and optical interfaces ·Carrier Ethernet (edge and interfacing to Metro) ·Fluent English skills， i.e. both written and spoken PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES: • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Self-motivated and able to work well autonomously BUSINESS UNIT DESCRIPTION: In Research， Technology， and Platforms we support all Business Units in their efforts to serve fixed， mobile and integrated operators， and other service providers around the globe. We cooperate with universities， IT industry， and IPR and standardization bodies.
