ESSENTIAL FUNCTION / RESPONSIBILITIES:
Through commercial and marketing actions (finding new customers, growing existing accounts, organizing commercial seminarsetc) , grow sales for all Residential/Commercial products from 2M$ today to around 6M$ in 3 years.
Conduct full analysis of the Northern China Residential water market, to understand competition, market dynamics, price structure.
Recommend commercial strategies to address these changes and maintain long term growth.
Maintain / increase profitability of our business in the territory, by developing profitable accounts, maintaining./increasing pricesetc.
Help China Customer Service / finance team interact with customers, assist in collecting customer payments when needed
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:
Strong Commercial and marketing skills, at least 5 years experience in selling technical products in China
Strong Technical skills, ideally in water purification
Fluent in Mandarin and English
Customer Focus and experience in managing/growing a distribution network
Interest in technical products, ideally in water / chemistry
University Degree, prefer Business / Commercial or Engineering
Position based in Shanghai, 50% travel time in the territory
GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The residential & Commercial Water group is a 90M$ fast growing global business, with manufacturing facilities in USA, Canada, France and China. Residential water products include automatic control valves and other water components to build water softeners and water filters used in home water treatment applications. We also manufacture ultra-filtration systems for home use. Some of the larger components can be used in larger (commercial) applications, like pre-treatment to boiler feed water and small industrial water filtration systems. A third product line includes Point-of-Use (POU) water purification systems and components: for example tap or under-the-sink water treatment systems through Reverse Osmosis or other filtration technologies. These products are sold through a network of distributors and OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturers) which assemble our components into complete systems and resell them to customers (consumers or industrial end users). We are looking for a Sales Manager to grow our business in Northern China, help our current distributors and OEM‘s grow, and find new customers. We plan to grow our business in the territory from about 2M$ today, to 6M$ in 3 years.
