PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBITIES: § Ensure employee relations issues are handled promptly, accurately and equitably and advise regional management in appropriate resolution of these issues, consulting with management and outside parties as necessary. § Review facts involved in employee issues and determine appropriate course of action, consulting with management and outside parties as necessary. § Serve as a lead focal point in regional area for staffing issues. § Interact with Regional Management on a regular basis to support local business objectives. § Provide recommendations regarding policies and procedures and assist with development of such. § Coordinate and conduct management training in interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance review and harassment, and other areas as needed to ensure compliance with company policies as well as federal and state regulations. § Draft disciplinary and termination documentation. § Represent company in hearings involving personnel within regional area of responsibility. § Participate in special human resource projects as business dictates. § Assists managers and supervisory personnel with performance management. § Provide responsible supervision and control for all department activities. § Provide training of assigned staff through active recruitment, training, and quality management activities. § Conduct annual performance reviews for all staff within department. § Address all employee performance problems promptly and directly in accordance with personnel policies of the Company. § Other duties as assigned. |
