ESSENTIAL FUNCTION / RESPONSIBILITIES:
Financial Controller for business with ~$260M of annual internal sales and ~40M+ Inventory.
Close month end Income Statement and Balance Sheet accounts in Oracle.
Issue reports to Global Finance team on month end and quarter end results.
Lead the account reconciliation process. Review and maintain zero un-reconciled accounts.
Manage 3 member team in India responsible for inter-company accounting.
Audit bi-annual Physical Inventory. Manage any Surplus/Deficit accounts.
Communicate with internal & external auditors.
Tax filing for Global parts. Co.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:
BA/BS/CPA/Degree in Accounting or Finance. 3-5 years experience in multi-national company.
Excellent written & spoken communication in English. Minimum CET 6 or equivalent.
Experience on/with global teams.
Interpersonal, analytical & presentation skills.
Proficient in operating Oracle GL/AP/AR/Inventory Modules.
Strong software skills and working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Access).
DESIRED:
Financial/Accounting experience with stand alone legal entities.
Knowledge for handling independent legal entity in US.
Knowledge of reporting software: Business Objects and Cognos.
FMP (GE Financial Management Program) or CAS experience preferred.
