ESSENTIAL FUNCTION / RESPONSIBILITIES:
The objective of this role is to accelerate the growth of GE transportation drill motor segment and other oil and gas related product. Reporting to China Sales Director of Transportation P&SS, key responsibility will include:
Identify qualify, pursuit and capture all sales opportunities with the objective of maximize growth in GETS oil and gas related product line.
Lead the preparation, submission, tracking and closing of quotations, technical clarifications, and contracts.
Develop, maintain and nurture relationships with customers.
Develop and implement strategies for key accounts, tenders and strategic deals.
Work with marketing team to prepare market assessments, competitive analysis and sales forecasts.
Actively engage in New Product Initiatives by closely working with headquarter team and relate this to sales.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:
BS degree in mechanical/ electrical engineering discipline, good knowledge in rotating equipment/motor area.
3~5 year working experience in oil and gas industry
Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, ability to communicate at all levels within external customer organizations as well as internal organization.
Fluent in both business and technical English communications, both verbal and written.
A track record of success in bringing in business within a multinational environment.
DESIRED:
A strong familiarity with oil rig industry operational practice, both on shore and offshore. Familiar with Chinese rig builders and oil companies.
