Description: Multimedia Services and Application organization is part of Motorola‘s Mobiles Devices business, chartered to create and deploy Signature services for multimedia mobile devices. Network Engineering and Operation team based in Beijing is responsible for system architecture design, deployment, technical support and system maintenance for internal lab and external commercial launches around the world. Manage a team of network system and database engineers provide global support of Screen3 and other multimedia services: 1. Linux based web systems operation, maintenance and trouble shooting in 3 data center locations and 1 lab globally. 2. Linux, Weblogic installation, configuration and trouble shooting 3. Lab performance testing technical support and performance tuning. 4. Shell scripting for monitoring/alert system and automation. 5. External maintenance tools research to optimize IT infrastructure and support. 6. Support business and market team on content operation, service reporting and technical proposal. Requirement: 1. Past experience as a people manager or strong background as a team leader. 2. At least 3-year experience on Linux, Weblogic (or other web midware for Unix/Linux system) installation, maintenance and administration. 3 Familiarity with Unix/Linux shell scripting and system monitoring tool deployment. 4. Experience on web application system deployment, administration. 5. Familiarity with web service related protocol. Such as HTTP, DHCP, WAP, SMPP, SNMP. 6. Experience on Firewall (NetScreen is prefered), Cisco Switch deployment and maintenance is a strong plus 7. Excellent communication skills in oral and written English. 8. Good team player.
