? Support efficient and effective sourcing/procurement systems implementation, take a business lead, also support development and implementation of purchasing processes in the organization to achieve strategic and tactical objectives. ? Partner with business in analyzing, designing and implementing purchasing processes. Conduct process improvement analysis (root cause analysis and trend forecasting) with results. ? Provide analysis and synthesis of data to support and develop conclusions related to systems and processes support for strategic sourcing. ? Provide analysis and finding that are effective and cogent, demonstrating communications strength, while highlighting scenarios and sensitivity analyses. ? Assist in change management and training/education efforts with end users and their understanding and value received from systems and processes. ? Provide routine participation in external benchmarking and industry analysis ? Monitor compliance to processes and sourcing strategies ? Support team sourcing operation. ? Understand good practices, tools and processes across Novartis globally and deploy applicable solutions locally.

? In-depth understanding of purchasing processes ? Experience in implementation of purchasing systems (business side) ? SAP, or other ERP class systems practice knowledge ? Training and communication skills ? Solid project management skill and strong change agent, with the ability to make things happen. ? Process analysis know how (eg. Lean Sigma) is an advantage ? Very good command of written and spoken English
