| Job Description: This position supports the Hitachi GST Enterprise Information Warehouse (EIW), which includes Business Information System (BIS) and SAP Datawarehouse (SAPDW). EIW is multi-faceted collection of IT solutions including Data Warehouse, Business Intelligence, Master Data Management and an Application layer supporting internal business processes in Finance, Sales, Pricing, Supply Chain and others. EIW uses Hyperion (Oracle) Essbase and Brio, IBM DB2, DB2 Warehouse Manager and Alphablox, Websphere and Java running on IBM pSeries (AIX) servers. EIW has a large world-wide user population with a multi-national technical support team that is undergoing a major restructuring. The new EIW technical support team will be headquartered in Silicon Valley in the US with support teams in China and a 3rd contract location, to be determined. EIW Datawarehouse Operations Support Responsibilities: -General Production Support of ETL processes. -Master Data Management for Enterprise standards. -Security Administration for Essbase, DB2 and Brio user communities. -Level 1 support to users -Periodic reviews -Testing of changes to web applications and ETL processes. Qualifications: -Basic SQL -Basic Java or C++ -Strong English language skills. -Must work well in a Global team environment. -Must be results driven. -UNIX -Brio -Script languages -Knowledge of data warehousing and BI concepts. -Minimum Bachelor Degree in IT related major. -Some work experience in a related field is preferred. |
