Position:Senior/Group Account Director Department: Account Management SUMMARY: The Account Director is the key contact between Wunderman and the Client and has primary day to day responsibility for the delivery of all programme activity, in addition to assisting in the growth of the client account with respect to branding, CRM, direct & digital marketing activities. They work across multiple lines of an account developing and executing synergistic solutions which help our Clients to grow their business and gain market share. A key member of the account team assisting in strategy development through to solution delivery, the Account Director ensures that solutions provided are on strategy and meet Wunderman standards and client expectations. They will also lead & manage other Account Management resources on specific Client business. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: · Lead the formulation of CRM strategy plans for their clients · Strengthen and expand relationships with their key Wunderman clients. · Lead and manage the other members of the Account team on a day-to-day basis, ensuring a high quality of output and team morale · Day to day lead for account team, data insights, interactive and creative teams in implementing class-leading solutions and ensure agency resources are used effectively. · Maintain thorough up-to-date knowledge of client’s business. Keeps abreast of all facets of the business, including new business opportunities. · Is the creative “teams’” main day to day contact, providing direction on creative briefs and generating enthusiasm/trust from the team with which they work · Is a sound judge of creative work and is able to coherently argue the case for working being on or off brief. · Is responsible for overseeing the production of all campaigns produced · Ensure financial management and control, including client budget, expense reporting, and campaign profits/losses and monthly agency forecasting, tracking and billing. · Integrate the ATL and BTL work to ensure a holistic brand and customer strategy · Grow a dynamic, knowledgeable and pro-active Wunderman team. Conduct performance management and goal assessment of staff. · Support other Wunderman account teams on other client business as and when required. · Conduct performance management and goal assessment of direct-reports. REQUIRED SKILLS: · Excellent CRM experience · Excellent business development and project management skills. · Strong leadership, management and team building skills. · Strong client facing skills. · Successful track record managing multiple client assignments. · Strong presentation skills. · Sound qualitative & quantitative analytical skills · Knowledge of all agency functional areas; including research, creative, production, media, interactive, database and technology services · Excellent oral and written communication skills. · Ability and proven track record of developing client business. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: · BA/BS degree. · 7+ years of professional experience with 4A agencies with CRM and interactive experience · Strong direct marketing experience with an integrated marketing perspective. · Agency and account management experience required. · Man-management experience essential. · Automotive experience is a plus |
