REQUIREMENTS: Experience: Background in either repair services (container, terminal equipment or vessels), or persons with managerial capability in successful clinical operational handling Extensive knowledge and connections in Asia Pacific or Indian Ocean markets is a plus University degree, preferably in business, logistics, maritime, or port operations Skills: Highly bottom line driven and ability to manage people in different business cultures Strong leadership and management competencies Creative, self-motivated and be able to motivate others Good ability to communicate with management and colleagues; interpersonal skills Strong analytical skills and drive for success Fluent and written and spoken English Always comply with Brigantine‘s policies, values, missions and vision Be a role model for all the colleagues. Walk the talk RESPONSIBILITIES: Head and be overall responsible for Business Development, Joint Venture formation and Joint Venture Management for all Brigantine activities outside of Mainland China and Hong Kong. This includes current Brigantine activities in Malaysia and Taiwan, and a number of approved projects/joint ventures in other locations in the Asia Pacific/Indian Ocean regions which are under development Involvement in setting up joint ventures, identifying business partners, inclusive of setting up of the joint ventures and subsequent operations in multiple business activities such as emr, container trading, yard equipment maintenance, and marine services Be an active member of the Executive Management Team of the Brigantine Group Optimize return on capital invested and return on equity and long-term growth of Brigantine activities in locations outside of Mainland China and Hong Kong Develop strategies, in conjunction with the functional department heads, for the direction and administration of Brigantine‘s business activities Overseas, including operation management, sales, customer services, materials management, tool engineering, cost estimation, product engineering, manpower control and technical services to meet the objectives of the company Develop and execute plans in line with the strategies for Brigantine Group, while satisfying any potential business partners Management of Brigantine Overseas including operations, production, human resources, commercial, sales, customer service and budget compliance/performance Investigate and develop buiness opportunities in key locations critical for Maersk Line |
