Ltd is the first Global Sourcing Office of Office Depot, which is for the purpose of better support the Corporate sourcing and operations worldwide. With the needs of business expansion, Office Depot Merchandising (Shenzhen) Co. Ltd is looking for high calibers to fill the following positions: Packaging Engineer Responsibilities: -Responsible for developing packaging, ensuring quality, and compliance to regulations of product packaging. The scope of Packaging Engineering includes package materials, structures and graphics for the products sourced in China and other Asian countries. Responsible for developing package improvement programs, and managing package suppliers (corrugate, plastic and paper) and printers of artwork. Requirements: -Bachelors Degree in Engineering -Min. 4 years of work experience in packaging engineering, -Experience in packaging manufacturing environment, packaging design agent, and/or packaging testing. -Good communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills -Excellent command of English and Mandarin -Knowledge of package design, product presentation in stores; -Knowledge of supply chain activities -Experience with ISTA requirements; -Experience with regulatory requirements on graphics by various countries / markets; -Packaging cost analytical knowledge and experience; -Supplier Quality Management experience.
