| Digital Video System Manager职位说明及要求 | |
| Job Purpose As the DVS manager you will perform projects and team management role with the aim of delivering competitive high performance digital video/audio IP solutions for SoC portfolio and supporting the related IC bring-up and validation. You will also provide the technical leadership， mentoring and supervision role to group leaders and engineers in the DVS. You may also be required to provide directions to senior management and work in collaboration with marketing and other engineering departments to define new products. Job Description 1. Perform a line management role to: - provide direction and supervision to ensure staff are clear on their responsibilities - ensure your team fully understand and comply with all company policy and procedures - motivate your team to work efficiently and creatively to develop new products and to meet project timescales - mentor and coach all team members - communicate openly and effectively with team members - ensure that new team members receive an effective induction to their new role - conduct annual appraisals and personal development reviews to define training and development needs - set out objectives and evaluate training and development for individual‘s and the team - project plan， monitor， control and report on all projects - authorize and report on leave and absenteeism 2. Collaborate with other engineering teams within the company on specific project requirements 3. Work in collaboration with marketing to define new products and maintain an in depth market and trends awareness in specialist area 4. Provide strategic direction to senior management in specialist area 5. Manage the training and development for your team 6. Perform research and development in specialist area 7. Prepare regular reports， as required by management 8. Undertake any other related duties as may be reasonably requested Job Requirements 1. You must have MSc degree for 8+ years， or PhD degree for 5+ years， with major in digital video compression/decompression， digital TV transmission/reception， digital signal processing， or VLSI architecture and design methodology 2. You must be familiar with digital video compression/decompression， image processing， silicon IP core design methodology and verification， and VLSI design flow 3. You must have the record of leading a team to successfully develop a digital video silicon IP core and working with VLSI team to integrate the core into SoC and to bring-up the chip 4. You must have excellent communication skills， including well-written and fluent spoken English， for daily engineering and management communication in an international operation environment 5. You must be prepared to carry out your duties outside normal working hours |
