GU Software Designer职位说明及要求

Responsibility:
1.Follow Nortel global processes to design and implement new features and troubleshoot/solve exitisting technical issues of Nortel MSC/VLR product.
2.Perform design testing and develop customer/design documents during feature development and problem solving.
3.Work closely with other function teams， e.g， Product Line Manager， Test， Product Support and System Engineer， for on-time delivery of qualified MSC/VLR product， customer support and product evolution.

Requirements:
1.Bachelor degree or above in Telecommunications， Computer Science， Electrical Engineering， Mathematics or relevant majors
2.Proficiency in UNIX， C/C++ and JAVA.
3.Good understanding of wireless communication Network architecture and functions/services provided by different network entities.
4.The following knowledge and experience (both principle and implementation) would be an asset:
?2 years or above SW development experience in telecommunication industry
?knowledge of TCP/IP， CCS7 protocol
?Knowledge of GSM/UMTS CS core network technology including call processing， signaling protocols， services.
?Knowledge in GSM/UMTS CS Core Network related Protocols and Industry Standards， such as DTAP， BSSMAP， MAP， CAP， ISUP， BICC， H.248 and SIP/SIP-I.
?Knowledge of Nortel’s MSC/VLR product.
5.Good technical/daily English reading， writting， listening， speaking abilities.
6.Good professional and social skills， e.g， communication， issue tracking， presentation， report.
7.Self motivated. Have the ambition to grow and take responsibility， and become an important contributor within organization.
