Impactt is looking for a passionate and committed mother tongue English speaker with excellent skills in written English and reading and speaking Putonghua to act as a vital link between our work in China and our clients around the world. The person will be responsible for ensuring that the findings and outputs from our work on labour issues in China are presented in engaging and accurate written English. Impactt is an ethical trading consultancy that aims to work with businesses to use trade to improve the lives of workers around world. Our team in China needs the support of a friendly and dedicated person(s) to help them translate their findings out in the field into reports for our clients. This position does not have to be full time and some work can be done from home. A job share/part time post would be considered. The Support Officer MUST has English as their first language ie mother tongue and be able to read and speak Chinese. Job duties The Support Officer will be required to: Read Chinese reports and translate them into English Read and edit reports written in English Support the rest of the team to write reports quickly and efficiently and structure them in a user friendly format Liaise with the teams in the China, Hong Kong and UK offices. Person Specification Essential Desirable Experience Writing reports in English Have lived/worked in an English speaking country Working in a multicultural team Supply chain/retail/factory experience Teaching English as a foreign language Skills & Knowledge English as their mother tongue Read Chinese fluently Good spoken Putonghua Excellent written skills (English) Excellent communication skills Attention to detail Good computer skills ie Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint To be a responsible, confident and a good communicator Good written Chinese Active interest in ethical issues Performance Behaviors Passion and personality ‘Can-do’ attitude Self-motivated Ability to work independently and as part of a team Integrity To be able to meet deadlines Education level An undergraduate university degree or above Location Based in Guangzhou, Guangdong province, PRC (though some work may be done from home) 符合要求者，请将您的简历发送到：susan@impacttlimited.com |
