Responsibilities: 1.Provide technical support on components, identify opportunities for redesign or component substitution to provide cost reduction or quality improvement 2.Source vendors / suppliers for the operation and make recommendations to management with regard to selection. Identify opportunities to source with the Flextronics strategic suppliers. 3.Be involved with Supplier / vendor audits and evaluations, provide feedback to suppliers with regard to quality and production complaints and ensure corrective actions are complied with and enacted 4.Provide technical back-up for alternate sourcing recommendations with regard to product specifics and design 5.Support the team in relation to price confirmation and negotiation on cost reduction 6.Monitor processes and procedures and ensure that the team are in compliance as required 7.Provide technical support with regard to component consolidation to achieve cost advantage 8.Standardize component descriptions and help to classify parts within commodity codes. 9.Liaise with operations and stores to ensure materials are located, inventory managed and processed through the operation, giving technical support, assistance and information where required. Requirements: 1.At least 5 years working experience of being Paper Path procurement Engineer 2.Bachelor degree 3.Killed in English communication 4.Strong knowledge of Paper Path Please send your resume to: Catherine.Zhou@cn.flextronics.com |
