Location: Beijing MSIT is looking for an experienced engineer to support Microsoft Beijing office infrastructure service. The candidate will work closely with the Global Network Operation/Data Center Operation Support team and Telecom engineering team to implement and maintain the excellent network related solutions in Beijing office. He/She will act as an extension of the Microsoft Corporate IT group for escalation purposes and when local knowledge or in time zone support is required, ensuring operational excellence at the site. In the absence of IT Manager, this person will be able to take lead of the team as a strong backup for IT Manager. Core Responsibilities: - Implement and maintain the network and other infrastructure systems base on Microsoft standard support model. - Interact with the third-party product and service providers to ensure their service level. - Provides escalation support to helpdesks and may provide support to end users directly as requested. - Provides 24X7 on call support for infrastructure related issues. - Owns and manages all the IT equipments and facilities including routers, switches, telecommunication devices, servers, PBX, security system, FM200, UPS and CRAC in the site data center. - Escalates issues to corporate tier-2/3 support team as necessary. - Works closely with the business, regional PM, corporate functional teams and IT vendors to implement all infrastructure related projects at the site. - May take on regional initiatives or projects. - Performs Employee Productivity Education training to educate end users on IT services and applications. - Assists IT Manager on driving IT processes and policies within the team. Qualifications: - 3+ years network/system/support engineer experience, with supporting experiences for 1000+ nodes background is preferred. - Proficiency in network design, configuration and troubleshooting including switching, routing, VLANs, SNMP and etc. Certifications like CCNA or CCNP would be an added advantage. - Experience on Dell / HP mainstream server and storage configuration, diagnostic and troubleshooting. - Strong knowledge of Microsoft operating system and domain knowledge. Certifications like MCSE/MCDBA would be added advantage. - Ability to communicate complex content with strong analytical and organizational skills and drive for long-term solutions and deliver short-term fixes. - Passionate to learn new technologies and take big challenges under pressure, team player. - Excellent customer service skills and strong written and oral communication skills in both Chinese and English. - Ability to work flexible hours required. - Knowledge of telephony system management (Nortel/Polycom) is preferred. - Knowledge of web and database development skills would be an advantage. 申请此职位，请投递您的简历至 (Please send your CV to): v-jesliu@microsoft.com |
