| WiMAX Network Technology Researcher职位说明及要求 | |
| MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Network Technology research department is looking for an expert for the WiMAX Research Competence Team. In this position you do research on WiMAX ASN. You will contribute to WiMAX standardization and to other Long Term Research projects. The candidate will need to work closely with global team for local and international research， development and project collaboration. Output of the work will be WiMAX standard related proposals， Invention Reports， new technology and research topic scouting， concepts and prototypes. REQUIREMENTS: – Broad and deep knowledge in wireless communication， like WiMAX， LTE/SAE， 3G. – Deep understanding with WiMAX technology (network and air interface) and related specifications， familiar with LTE/SAE related specifications， especially RAN related. – Development or Research experience on WiMAX， LTE/SAE or 3G/B3G/IMT-A in the following areas: o Mobility management and protocols o Radio resource management o Handover control o Robust header compression (ROHC) and payload header compression (PHS) – Experience in the WiMAX or 3GPP standard work and contribution is a plus. – Experience in managing prototype and/or system development related activities would be an added advantage. PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES: – PhD/MS degree in EE or related area with 3+/5+ years experience on wireless research and development. – Be a good team player， self motivated， fully-confident， and proactive in daily work. – Good oral and written English are required. BUSINESS UNIT DESCRIPTION: COO / RTP support all Business Units in their efforts to serve fixed mobile and integrated operators， and other service providers around the globe. RTP cooperate with universities， IT industry， and IPR and standardization bodies. Our task is to ensure that we as a company have world leading technology capabilities and optimum synergies across the Business Units. |
