Essential Responsibilities: Providing internal functional "customer" support for MCAD and ECAD community Management and responding to issues escalated by lead users. Solve problems by responding to questions, escalating MCAD and ECAD Tools issues, and making changes within the system or database through the system administration tools. Provide MCAD and ECAD infrastructure support, MCAD and ECAD application license support, and MCAD/ECAD applications upgrade management. Own MCAD and ECAD Tools Support Central sites by keeping the content relevant. Interact with IT team to design and support MCAD and ECAD network and data management. Participate in the selection and transition to a strategic MCAD supplier. This position will also offer a wide range of exposure to many P&L‘s in GE Healthcare. It also includes significant interaction with global team members. Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering or Computer Science Engineering or Electrical Engineering with 5 years of experience Strong Administrator experience with UNIX and Windows systems Strong scripting and programming skills Demonstrated proficiency with web based applications and PC skills Demonstrated ability to negotiate and orchestrate solutions through multiple resources Demonstrated excellence in verbal and written communication Desired Characteristics: Experience working with global teams Experience defining a Global MCAD strategy, selecting strategic MCAD supplier, and executing migration to new tool sets. Green belt certified Strong analytical and problem solving abilities, a positive attitude, ability to work in a team as well as independently, and perform efficiently with minimal supervision Experience in networking Experience in Mechanical Design, and knowledge of various MCAD tools (IDEAS, PRO-E, Solid Works, Ansys, ICEPAK, Teamcenter, ProLink, etc) Experience in Electrical Design, and knowledge of various ECAD tools (Cadence, Valor, etc) |
