Your responsibilities: -This person will be responsible for managing sourcing activities with Asian suppliers. Responsibilities will include identifying and qualifying new suppliers, performing Environmental, Health, Safety and Fair Labor Practice audits at suppliers, ensuring production parts meet end user quality requirements, and ensuring on-time delivery schedules are met. This person will be responsible for initial negotiations and contracting requirements. -Manage the supplier identification and qualification, RFP, supplier selection, contract development, implementation and ongoing supply base management process -Develop new suppliers to meet quality and service levels needed to be a company supplier. -Oversee ongoing supplier relationship to ensure timely delivery and consistent quality. -Develop and maintain expertise in both the area of spend being managed and in strategic sourcing processes. -Continuously improve product cost savings efforts. -Take an active role in sourcing and managing value added services (product development resources, packaging resources, logistics operations) for the development and export of products Your profile: -Bachelor degree or above -Minimum 8 years sourcing expereince at reputable foreign companies -Fluent in English and Mandarin, both written and oral. Cantonese ability preferred, but not required. -Strong textile, leather, and/or clothing consumer products manufacturing experience is a plus -Problem Solving & Decision Making -Project Management -Ability to lead sourcing efforts -Interpersonal Communication Skills, both oral & written -Negotiation Expertise |
