| MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Design and setup of a mesh WiMax backhaul node based on the reference design of a third party vendor using commercial components for a rapid prototype development (short term); Review on the HW design provided by the 3rd party partners; debug the board， In charge of the hardware components (including baseband， RF board， antenna etc) evaluation and selection in different network setups / architectures (mid long term). REQUIREMENTS: - good know how of RF and baseband related HW - know how of commercial reference designs in WiFi and WiMax (Artheros， DesignArt welcome) - ability to setup a mesh node hardware based on requirements and network architectures - good understanding of cellular and wireless network architectures - Strong MCU， DSP， EPLD and FGPA R&D experience PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES: PhD/MS degree in EE or related area with 3+ years experience radio hardware design Be a good team player， self motivated， fully-confident， and proactive in daily work. Good oral and written English are required. |
