| Senior Manager of Digital Photo Frame Design Engineering –Consumer Digial职位说明及要求 | |
| Responsibilities: 1.Build up a capable DPF engineering/design organization to grow our ODM services to tier one customer requirement. 2.To manage the product development in term of product specification definition， system architecture， engineering design and design verification 3.Collaboration with others Flex design/engineering team internally and externally， locally and globally. 4.Participating in design reviews and product gate reviews organized by management. 5.Build design capability for DPF across engineering disciplines， including staffing of design engineers， program management staff， and quality assurance and test engineers. 6.Lead and guide project teams to deliver to performance， quality， cost， and schedule commitments. Provide local leadership to design staff. Grow first and second-line manager leadership capabilities. 7.Ensure good interaction between design teams and across functions by maintaining excellent management relationships with Flextronics operations， supply chain， & global account management leaders. 8.Ensure consistent use of design tools and processes， and drive use of best practices across business line and product category design teams. 9.Manage design center costs and financial reporting to agreed-upon targets. 10.Responsible for implementation of Flextronics FPLC and PDP processes . Requirements: 1.Masters Degree in Engineering (EE， ME， SW) with at least 8 yrs experience including similar consumer display devices design & development experience， and 1st & 2nd line engineering management experience in China. 2.Detailed understanding of the product development process， from concept to manufacturing ramp-up， understanding of design-for-manufacturing issues， and thorough understanding of verification and quality assurance methods. 3.Experience working with marketing and business leaders on product definition and strategy. 4.Leadership of cross-functional teams and experience working with customers， key component suppliers， and other ODM or EMS companies in Asia. 5.Excellent English and Chinese verbal and written communication skills. Must be confident & comfortable giving presentations both to customers and to Flextronics management. Multiple language skills such as Japanese a plus. 6.Ability to weigh all factors to drive to a solution for complex problems. Ability to effectively manage across cultural differences. Strong coaching capability and people influence skill. 7.Ability in organizing and managing multiple projects， setting priorities and working independently under aggressive timelines to deliver on all commitments. 8.Strong knowledge and product development background of portable multimedia devices including LCD， power management， image/video processing/decoding (JPEG， MPEG)， system integration， embedded CPU， and SW technology. 9.Proven design experience in developing latest DPF， multimedia devices products based on Amlogic， TI， Zoran chipsets. 10.Proven track record in meeting the design， quality， cost and schedule requirement of Tier One customer， especially Japanese customer is preferred.
