Position Title: Regional Sales Manager Location: Chengdu or Beijing Total Staff (internal): 20 Report to: National Sales Manager Subordinates: 0 Position Summary: Under general direction of the National Sales Manager, the Sales Manager is responsible for developing distributors and sales order intake in the northern China area. Human Relations: This position interfaces with sales team, marketing team, distributors and the external customers/key accounts. The individual must be able to develop the respect and posses the self-confidence and sales skills required to successfully execute the responsibilities of the position. Principal Duties & Responsibilities: Development of the long term business partners/distributors, as well as the maintenance of such relationship Work closely with the marketing organization in the development of key account, market and segment strategy development and tracking Work closely with distributors and all functional areas in development and tracking of sales plans in China. Must be a team player and willing to work with others; sensitivity to other cultures and team dynamics are important. Responsible for ensuring the all activities are conducted in compliance with the Textron Business Guidelines. Required Education and Experience: This position requires a Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Sales, Business or related subject plus 5 or more year‘s sales experience (with channel experience). Strong computer skills. Understanding of hand tool industry is necessary. Excellent communication and presentation skills, as well as strong interpersonal are required. |
