?POSITION OBJECTIVE
Promote and implement RMT wireless solution under China Marketing programs and reach assigned goals
?MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Key Activities ?Pursue sales leads with local sales people ?Asses customer requirements and suggest appropriate solutions, handle more complex enquiries ?Negotiate price / delivery and conclude sales orders to meet revenue targets ?Establish annual, quarterly and monthly sales plans and prioritize own activities so these targets can be met. ?Refer sales leads, customer feedback and information on competitor activity to appropriate contacts within the organization ?Build positive relationships with customers that will generate future sales and repeat business ?Coach and mentor less experienced sales representatives to achieve sales targets ?Deliver on commitments
2.Differentiation ?Manage and Develop the Complete Rosemount Process Wireless Business utilizing complete Emerson Process portfolio as well as integrating strategic partner relationships (eg CISCO) to solve customer measurement needs. ?Develop Rosemount as the Undisputed Wireless Leader ?Accountable for achievement of country / territory budget ?Responsible for the growth (sales volume) budget. ?Co-ordinate with Marketing Managers to ensure common messaging. ?Generate “Quantifiable Business Result” (QBR). ?Create Application Notes and White Papers in conjunction with the AP Wireless Marketing team. Ensure expedient dissemination of material to country / territory sales people ?Conduct Sales Effectiveness training for internal sales force, focused on building consultative sales skills. ?Conduct Differentiation / product seminars and/or training to internal and external customers. ?Develop China Wireless plan
3.Market Support Services ?Ensure Process Wireless Sales and Marketing Strategies are implemented, in conjunction with country leadership. ?Assist new product launches, in concert with Marketing Team. Activities include: product rollout to countries, demonstrations deployment, pricing, training for Sales/Marketing/CST, ensuring local approvals are met. ?Assist in Marquee and Key Account Project Pursuits activities, as led by Project Pursuit team. In particular, focus on developing Differentiation Strategies during initial pursuit cycle. Focus on maximizing Wireless Sales ?Assist in regular competitive market research as needed and identify local competitive threats. ?Work with country management to deliver first class pre-sales product and technical support. ?Assist in any new and ad-hoc Marketing programs as needed. ?Deliver regular updated analyses to AP Wireless Marketing Team.
?Measures for Performance:
1.Total Sales, quotations and order quantity 2.Increasing AUP by product differentiation 3.Market Participation 4.Internal Sales training seminars coordinated and/or conducted. 5.White Papers, Applications Notes, and QBR’s developed and distributed
?JOB COMPETENCIES
1.A good understanding of process instrumentation and fast in learning 2.Strong interpersonal, communication and planning skill, and strong presentation skills 3.Strong computer proficiency in the use of a presentation package (such as PowerPoint), a spreadsheet (such as Excel), and a word processor (such as Word). 4.Capable of extensive travel within China to support the sales efforts and travel outside China for training and other business meetings. 5.Driving for result and customer focus
?EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE
1.Degree in Engineering with 3 years of experience in process control industry with strong knowledge. Strong technical and industry knowledge. 2.Fluent in Mandarin and English (spoken and written) and must be a good communicator.
