Currently our client， is looking for the following:
Position : Legal Counsel (In house)
Location : Beijing
Responsibilities:
Provide legal advice and counsel to functional and business managers to ensure their current or proposed activities， policies， business practices and transactions comply with all relevant laws and regulations as well as company policies and procedures;
Review legal analyses and technical reports and make recommendation to senior management on how to respond to legal issues or proposed changes in laws and regulations;
Review and approve legal contracts and all other binding documents related to a variety of trade， commercial， financial， HR， operational matters， etc. to protect the company legal and business interests;
Represent the company in complex， controversial， significant， or specialised legal proceedings before arbitration body， court， government agencies or other authorities to seek for and protect the best interests of the company;
Prepare or review more complex materials for external legal counsel so that they are well-prepared to represent the company in legal proceedings;
Train and coach less experienced legal staff and peers to deal with legal related issues;
Be the responsible counsel to cross-business entities in China .
Requirements:
Master degree in law or the equivalence， overseas education preferred.
PRC Lawyer qualification
6 years and above in-house and law firm experience with PRC Lawyer qualification
Fluent oral and written in English and Mandarin.
