Program manager Report Line: Production Manager Job Description: Overall control and management of all engineering personnel based upon program work breakdown structures. Direct line report to the Production Manager To develop a localized Application Engineering Center. Develop resource plan Develop test and development facilities Develop process and practices Leverage and connect with the NA Engineering Team Training and the Development of all local engineering resources Application & System Program Management Engineering Services e.g. Test, CAD, CAE and prototype build Interface with human resources to establish: Consistent on-going training and career planning Implement engineering metrics that will track and drive improvements Facilitate design reviews. Measure engineering workload activities among the various customer teams and re-allocation of personnel based on need and work load leveling. Support sales and marketing activities through developing an integral product strategy that is aligned to the business model for the Korean sales/growth revenue plan. Lead skills assessment, and define and drive training and development strategies that will assure best-in-class talent in engineering teams Act as liaison between engineering and customer teams to assist in the development of major quotes PIFF/BET Share best practices between Europe and USA. Rotate resources and develop consistent processes. Qualification: BSME or related field. Minimum 4 -10 years engineering experience preferably in occupant safety restraints systems automotive. Asia automotive knowledge base critical to the success of the position Proven career track record of training and developing strong self directed engineering teams Fluent in English |
