JOB SUMMARY: CSCC/STR Administrative / Accounting Staff must be multilingual (with standard Mandarin and English--other dialects of Chinese are a plus), have strong communication, writing, and analytical skills, have good interpersonal skills to be able to interact with international and local staff, and have a college degree or the equivalent work experience. Primary responsibilities will be to perform administrative and basic accounting tasks for CSCC staff based in Shenzhen, and various other locations in China. CSCC’s Administrative/Accounting staff shall be free from bias and influences that could affect objectivity. All persons and organizations involved with CSCC’s administrative and accounting processes must respect and support the integrity of the Company. JOB DUTIES: The following job duties are general requirements, which may change and are not to be considered all-inclusive. The Administrative Accounting Associate may have to perform other tasks as directed by Management. 1. Complying with the applicable policies and procedures of the Company; 2. Planning and carrying out assigned responsibilities; 3. Maintain, administer, and control expenses and reimbursements efficiently; 4. Ensure payment requisition for trip expenses in a timely manner, petty cash and other items according to CSCC/STR policies; 5. Develop and maintain expense and personnel policy; 6. Verify and cross reference expense statements; 7. Verify and cross reference invoices or receipts for validity and reimbursement; 8. Update personnel data base; 9. Maintain and update salary and leave records; 10. Work on foreign labor affairs, temporary residency permits for international staff; 11. Assist in tracking payments for various clients; 12. Retaining and safeguarding documents pertaining to the staff salaries and labor contracts 1) Submitting such documents as required, 2) Ensuring such documents remain confidential, 3) Treating privileged information with discretion; 13. Cooperating with and supporting all staff; 14. Exercise objectivity; 15. Act in an ethical manner at all times. EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIRED: 1. University Degree (Accounting; Financial; English; Foreign affairs; International trade) or a minimum of 2-3 years experience in administrative tasks, banking or finances; 2. International exposure (International travel experience) a plus; 3. Strong communication skills, verbal and written; 4. Ideal candidate should have excellent verbal and written comprehension; 5. Ideal candidate should be analytical and comfortable with mathematics and calculations; COMPUTER AND SOFTWARE: Must be knowledgeable in use of computer applications, such as, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
