INTRODUCTION Our Corporate Headquarters and Electronic Control Products Division are located in U.S. In addition, we operate two manufacturing plants in Berlin, Wisconsin, and have part ownership in a facility in Asia. Our dedicated staffs of highly trained employees offer exceptional service to our customers during every stage of the manufacturing process. Thanks to their hard work and dedication we have grown from a small 40-foot by 100-foot factory in 1904, to three fully integrated facilities with over 115,000 square feet of production capacity. Our capabilities have expanded from the original bag holder and remembrance advertising of the early 1900‘s to custom: 1.Nameplates, Panels, Overlays and Trim 2.Point-of-Purchase (POP) Components 3.Cosmetic Packaging Components 4.Formed In-Mold Decorated (IMD) Inserts for Film, Insert Molding (FIM) 5.Membrane Switch Assemblies 6.Electronic Control Products 7.Optical Film Conversion ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 8.Find, evaluate, and qualify new suppliers in China in support of ECP business needs 9.Manage new projects at multiple suppliers to ensure project cost, quality, and lead time objectives are met 10.Routinely visit existing suppliers to address production issues, understand new capabilities, and provide performance feedback 11.Support engineering requests for pricing and supplier capability questions 12.Support new product and production procurement by obtaining pricing, resolving quality issues, and driving execution at the supplier manufacturing facilities 13.Provide timely feedback to ECP Operations regarding supplier concerns or issues 14.Support supplier development as needed by the ECP Team 15.Develop and enhance standards for inspection, quality control, and packaging. 16.Work closely with Engineering to verify design and production improvements. 17.Provide routine office management duties on behalf of Wilson-Hurd RO. QUALIFICATIONS ?Excellent English speaking capabilities. ?Excellent communication and leadership skills. ?Excellent technical, mechanical and electronic/electrical aptitude. ?Personal computer, Microsoft Office, CAD, ERP, MRP, and Manufacturing Systems knowledge. ?Team player with interpersonal and training strengths. ?Knowledge of manufacturing processes (PCB, PCBA, sheet metal stamping, plastic injection molding, cables, membrane switch assemblies, screen printing, color matching), assembly, fabrication, capital equipment, ISO, and facilities. Must be familiar with electronic assembly and component experience. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 1.Four year degree in electronic, electrical or mechanical engineering. 2.Minimum three years sourcing experience 3.Production, manufacturing, design, tooling, electronic assembly, Lean Manufacturing, and ISO experience. |
