| Custom Manager职位说明及要求 | |
| Responsibilities: - Developing and implementing customs strategy. - Managing and developing customs staff skills and capabilities for China plants. - Monitoring broker/service provider for adherence to cost saving/duty recovery program. - Liaising and negotiating with customs officials or other government departments to respond to inquiries resolve issues and obtain cost efficiency. - Participating in organizations to maintain government/industry contacts. - Managing customs activities and staff at India and China plants. - Managing Import/export controls to comply with international trade regulations to avoid penalties and criminal charges in the region， ensuring best practices. - Ensuring proper documentation is in place to support Transfer Pricing between related party entities. - Implementing import/export VAT policy and procedures. - Managing and conducting internal/external indirect tax audits and reviews in the region. - Managing external consultants. - Managing internal and external information requests for customs information in regards to duty rates， rules of origin， new program， duty free and used equipment， and sourcing strategies etc. - Being in charge of free trade zone oversight， dollar purchase strategies and conversion from RMB to dollar for China purchases. Requirements: - +10 years Customs experience in an operational environment. - +5 years representing companies before government authorities or position with Government authority responsible for Customs activities. - +5 years showing good understanding of VAT rules and regulations. - Bachelor from university min. MBA desirable - Extensive experience dealing with customs authorities. - Technical Customs/International Trade legislation knowledge and interpretation of the legislation to consider the environment. - Proven ability to deliver customs improvements within an operational context for multinational firms. - Excellent negotiation and people management skills in a multicultural environment. - Good understanding of Global and regional Transfer Pricing rules and regulations. -Strong understanding of supply chain and related tax issues. - Extensive experience in customs audit techniques and process management skills in an operations context. - Strong leadership skills， dynamic and proactive. - Persuasive， persistent， proactive and hands on. - Analytical， realistic and ability to embrace and manage change. -Excellent communication and inter-personal skills， detail oriented and trustworthy with a loyal track record in previous companies. -Fluency in English and Mandarin. |
