We are looking for a Global Category Team Leader-Printed Circuit Boards to help us achieve our goals. You will be working within the Honeywell Automation and Control Solutions businesses on Supply Chain initiatives. Purpose - Drive the development, implementation and execution of robust sourcing strategies that span ACS for the assigned category through effective management of a matrixed team representing all ACS SBUs. - Effective asset management, continuous quality improvement, improved cycle time and on time delivery performance, early supplier involvement in product development, and supplier rationalization. Scope of Job - Partner closely with SBU Sourcing and Integrated Supply Chain organizations through matrixed category teams and other functional centers of excellence. - Supplier relationship management of global suppliers. - Annual spend of ~$60M Principle Accountabilities - Drive ACS level strategies for assigned categories that address: -- Productivity/cost reduction/world class cost -- Working capital improvement -- Supply base industry performance benchmarks and trends -- Supply base rationalization -- CE and VE opportunities -- ACS current and future requirements -- Cycle time reduction -- Supplier quality improvement -- Supply chain optimization -- Process standardization -- Emerging region requirements - ACS lead in the corporate negotiation process - Lead the ACS Global Category Team for the assigned category in the development of a coordinated category strategy that is linked across all ACS SBUs and sites - Maintain/manage an ongoing project deck of all cost reduction opportunities - Interface with sourcing leaders, factory managers and site sourcing personnel to drive productivity/savings, supplier performance, and effectiveness of the supply chain - Enable and drive linkage of ACS Sourcing Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Strategic Plan (STRAP) with SBU sourcing organizations - Establish and manage key supplier performance goals and metrics, and drive improvement through relationship management and periodic business reviews. - Develop, plan and manage the negotiation process with key global suppliers - Promote and monitor early supplier involvement in the product development cycle Qualifications - Undergraduate degree in Supply Chain, Business, or Engineering required. - MBA or Masters Degree in a technical discipline, and professional certification preferred. - 5 to 10 years of directly related experience in sourcing or strategic category management - Experience in Printed Circuit Boards - Leadership-strong leadership skills to work across organizational boundaries and at all levels, ability to be a change agent, ability to establish and drive high performing teams, is a role model for high performance standards - Communication and Interpersonal-Strong verbal and written communication skills, effective listener, ability to facilitate team action, demonstrates high energy and models behavior to motivate the team - Execution-persistent drive for results utilizing sound planning, project management, organizational, and problem solving skills - Strategic Thinking-ability to make sound business judgments related to strategic supply objectives and initiatives - Technical-skilled negotiator, excellent knowledge of operations management and supply chain processes in a large, diverse organization, knowledge of effective technology driven sourcing processes. |
