Chief English Editor 1

This position includes:

l 1， editing and revising English articles and scripts;

l 2， preparing daily and weekly work planning according to GM’s instructions and accomplishing this planning on deadlines;

l 3， ensuring smooth execution of work planning， handling emergencies， communicating with editors and third parties

l 4. devising new productivity-oriented solutions for editors and writers

l 5. training newly-hired editors and writers

l 6. recommending hiring and firing of editors and writers

l 7. advising GM as to market trends in the Chinese tourism industry

Job requirements:

l 1， majored in English with graduate student certificate， and having excellent writing/editing skills in English;

l 2， an in-depth knowledge of China and its culture;

l 3， worked and/or studied in the USA， and some knowledge of Western consumers

l 4， strong leadership capabilities， as the work will involve meeting targets and deadlines;

l 5， a liking for sales，

l 6. ability to stand high pressure;

l 7， mastering Microsoft Office (Word， Excel， PPT， Outlook) and some knowledge of WMM;

l 8， At least 3-4 years of proven work experience， preferably in the publishing business (work references requested).
