Its China manufacture is in Shanghai and the main production is in Plastic Injection Molding. Key Area of Responsibility: - Comply with all company and Corporate Environment, Safety and Healthy (ESH), policies, programs, procedures and job specific roles and responsibilities defined in the WCP ESH Manual. - Supervises Shift Supervisors, Maintenance Engineer and mold technician in the discharge of their respective duties especially during start-up. - Evaluates manpower requirements and maximizes labor utilization. - Conducts regular dialogue with all level of personnel within the Department to exchange views, ideas that would further enhance the team spirit among the employees. - Ensures a continuous flow of communication from the ranks up to higher management and vice versa to be able to establish a harmonious relationship among the employees. - Participates in management meetings and provides input that are vital in the attainment of company‘s goal and objectives. - Coordinates with AP office and local machine shop regarding necessary mould repairs/revision. - Ensures that standard machine setting for all products are being followed at all times. - Evaluates productivity of each line taking into consideration quality, quantity and cost. - Conducts technical evaluation on newly installed machines and moulds and other equipment as may be required in accordance with the company policies. - Initiates/recommends improvement in the Production floor that would enhance the efficient flow of materials and equipment. - Monitors preventive maintenance schedules to ensure machines, equipment and moulds are in tip top condition at all times. - Recommends when and where deviation from standard is necessary after considering priority and urgency. - Produce quality parts in accordance customers requirements (quality, quantity & delivery). - Ensure the effectiveness and consistent implementation of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001:2000) in the Production / Operations Department. - Performs other related and relevant tasks as the need arises. REQUIREMENTS - Engineering Graduate - 3-5 years experience as Supervisory, Operations/ Production Manager in a Plastic Injection Molding Company. - Proficient Oral and Written Communication in both Chinese and English. - Computer literate (MS Office and use of Internet) - With knowledge in Quality and productivity Reporting Relationships Report to China General Manager. Compensation The salary range for this position is flexible depending on the experience and potential for future development of the selected candidate.
