Senior Data Analyst

Responsibility:

· Evaluate clients’ business situations and recommend appropriate analytic approach.

· Manage key analytic portions of a project from start to finish

1. Design research methodology and/or analytic framework

2. Select appropriate tools and technique

3. Data sourcing - coordinate data feeds and updates

4. Data preparation

5. Data analysis/Modeling

6. Conclusions/recommendations

· Prepare functional specifications for set up of systems and processes

· Major contribution in written analysis and presentation

· Consistency in delivering error-free work， on time， at standards that meet or exceed agency client and DMOA expectations

· Active contribution to project planning and scheduling

· Strong initiative in identifying steps that should be taken with all projects

· Provide statistical consulting (e.g. working with clients and agency personnel to determine the validity and significance of observed program results)

· Supervise analysts and/or coordinators

Skills:

· Highly quantitative background (degree in Statistics， Operations Research， Economics， Mathematics)

· 4+ years experience as data analyst or equivalent

· Working knowledge of SAS and/or SPSS

· Strong analytical skills with solid foundation in statistical procedures. Experience in one or more of the following: ANOVA， CHAID， cluster analysis， factor analysis， multivariate regression analysis.

· Experience with Database software a plus (Access， FoxPro， SQL Server， or Oracle).
