Operation Manager (猎头职位：Leading US Chemical Company) General Summary Responsible for project management of setting up this new plant. Develop, direct and control the implementation of operational strategies and activities to achieve world class products, customer requirements and service and operating performance. Responsibilities -Direct the operation plans and business activities for the achievement of short and long term operating and profit objectives. ?Plan and review operating costs with regard to production, output, quality, logistics, manufacturing cycle time, labor, productivity and capital program implementation. -Ensure optimum application of available manufacturing technologies by monitoring industry developments and leading rapid manufacturing and logistics capability upgrades. -Establish and control capital programs ensuring projects meet agreed timing, expenditure limits and results. -Establish quality management objectives, policies and programs. -Apply and develop leading manufacturing techniques and drive continuous improvement philosophies to maximize system performance and customer service. -Select, appraise and develop operations staff to meet immediate and future organizational needs. -Liaise with senior managers to ensure production plans meet business needs. -Ensure activities related to the function comply with relevant Acts, legal demands and ethical standards. Qualifications -Bachelor’s degree, with major in Chemical Engineering is a must -Minimum 8 years of work experience in manufacturing plant or quality assurance area, with at least 3 to 5 years on project management. New plant setting up experience is preferred. -Familiar with quality assurance system such as ISO9000. Certified 6 sigma GB will be a plus -Good knowledge and experience on quality control tools and problem solving skills. Knowledge on SAP will be a plus -Team player, with excellent interpersonal communication skills -Willing to face the challenging and fast changing environment -Good oral and written English |
